Overview
The Strait is an iPhone game. We keep the game simple: there are no player accounts operated by us, and The Strait does not run its own gameplay backend.
The app may use Apple services and Google advertising services, as described below. Some gameplay data, settings, purchase state, and scores may be stored locally on your device.
Information We Process
- Local gameplay data: run state, scores, settings, purchases, and progress stored on your device.
- Game Center: if you sign in, Apple Game Center may handle your player identity and leaderboard scores.
- In-app purchases: Apple StoreKit processes purchases, including the Remove Ads purchase.
- Advertising data: Google Mobile Ads may process device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and related data for ads, measurement, fraud prevention, and compliance.
- Support contact: if you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
Ads and Consent
The Strait uses Google Mobile Ads to show interstitial ads unless you purchase Remove Ads. Google and its partners may use information from your device to show, measure, and improve ads, subject to consent requirements in your region.

Game Center
The Strait uses Apple Game Center for leaderboards. If you use Game Center, Apple handles your Game Center account, nickname, player identity, and score display according to Apple's terms and privacy policies.

In-App Purchases
The app offers a non-consumable Remove Ads purchase. Payments are handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Children
The Strait is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request.
Data Retention
Local gameplay data remains on your device unless you delete the app or clear the data through device controls. Emails sent to support may be retained for as long as needed to respond and maintain records.
